Shakespeare, Comedy, and Singing
Last night I attended Homeschool Theatre Cultural Arts’ performance of “Much Ado about Nothing” by Shakespeare. One of my students acted and sang. The production incorporated a few songs and dances in the style of the time. The kids did a great job bringing Shakespeare’s comedic, rich language to life and making it natural. My student, Alyssa, looked elegant and sounded great, and her mom designed and sewed all the costumes, which looked amazing!
The next student of mine in a show is playing Elle in her school’s production of “Legally Blonde.” I’m so proud of performing students!
